			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Chief Marketing Officer Congress „Future Marketing” will take place between 30 May and 03 June 2011 in Sopot. This is the biggest event this year. It is aimed at professionals responsible for development, strategy, marketing and sales at companies.<span id="more-494"></span><br />
The Congress is divided into several content parts. The first one consists of three days dedicated to lectures, and two days filled with additional workshops, debates with special guests, and interviews. During this five day event, there will be a possibility to hear numerous presentations on the most important global trends. The presentations will be delivered by over 70 speakers, including 14 special guests from the USA, Switzerland, Portugal, Sweden, Great Britain, Spain, and Germany.</p>
<p>Why is it worthwhile to participate?<br />

<p>The special guests will be: David Patton – the President &amp; CEO at Grey EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa); Nick Wiggin – Strategy Manager at Ericsson; Peter Walshe – Brand Manager, Millward Brown; Gabriela Salinas – Global Brand Manager at Deloitte, Louis Seara Cardoso – Chairman at Mindgames, and others.</p>
<p>The Polish guests will be Bartosz Drozdowski, MD ARBOinteractive; Janusz Moneta,  CMO CEE Google; Robert Majkut, Designer; Wojciech Grendzinski, IMS SA; Matrusz Galica, Strategy Manager at TNS; Tomasz Modzelewski, the President of Zelmer; Marcin Skowroński, Marketing Division Director at Onet.pl. During the congress, some presentations will also be delivered by representatives of AMS, Starcom, Grey, Google, Facebook, TVN, Dragon Rouge, and dozens of other companies.</p>
<p>On the second day of the Congress, we would like to invite everyone to a lecture by Krzysztof Dębowski from SARE, who will be talking about the newest trends in e-mail marketing. On that same day at 20:00 in the evening, the final gala of the Marketing Manager of 2010 will take place. The host of the event is going to be the well-known TV presenter, Marcin Prokop, and the finalist of the last year&#8217;s edition of the popular show Mam Talent - Sabina Jeszka - will add splendour to that evening.</p>

<span id="more-487"></span>This year CeBIT trade show took place on 1-5 March and gathered a few hundred worldwide exhibitors. In particular, a lot of attention was paid to hosting solutions. The complete data-centres situated on a very small area or even placed in portable containers were presented, among others things, during the event.<br />

Naturally, the major area of the trade show was occupied by companies providing software (e.g. Microsoft, which placed particular emphasis on services based on cloud computing) and equipment suppliers, where Asus stood out among the rest. The biggest Polish exhibitor was Comarch’s German branch office; there was also an exhibition that introduced respective regions of Poland as country worth investing in digital technologies.</p>
<p>CeBIT fair shows have always set technology trends ruling for the remaining part of the year. Having visited trade show we can now expect that the year 2011 will belong to 3D technology and to the development of touch interfaces, such as those known from the film “Minority Report”. To ignore the Asian manufacturers’ generous offer would be almost impossible – it actually included nearly everything that the widely understood notion of “IT” covers. What also drew attention was the offer of every sort of small mobile touch devices, where – naturally – tablets dominated. Someone who associates a computer with a traditional “box”, keyboard and screen, would be confused with the lack of these components.</p>
<p>The amount of ca. 20 exhibition halls filled with offers of 4 200 exhibitors made it impossible to have a proper look even at a part of them. It was vital to get to know more about the forthcoming trends, though.</p>

<p>We also visited our customers’ booths, for example Arvato Bertelsmann. We will certainly visit CeBIT trade show next year, and maybe this time as exhibitors : )</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TMT.CloudComputing’11 conference took place on 10 February 2011 in Warsaw. The consumers enthusiastically use such Cloud Services such as Google, Skype and Facebook applications, that is, services available via browsers and many other devices. They drive the demand for cloud services, which apparently have no limitations, are available always and from everywhere, keep up with their expectation through constant development, without tiresome downtimes and with the costs controlled and ensuing from the factual use of the service.<span id="more-482"></span><br />
This new model of using technology, emphasising the needs and benefits of the users, not the property or localisation of the infrastructure, permeates slowly from consumer applications into the world of the business.</p>
<p>Is the Polish business – smaller and larger – ready for using and providing cloud services? Will the entrepreneurs go for the lower costs of technology, bigger flexibility of operation and time saving, inspired by the enthusiasm of the consumers? Will they decide to put their trust in providers of cloud solutions and focus on developing their own businesses and satisfying the needs of their customers? <p>This event, one of the most important in the direct marketing sector in Poland, was organised by the Direct Marketing Association and Media &amp; Marketing Polska on 10-11 February 2011 at Iguana Lounge Club in Warsaw. The subject of the meeting was related to the issue of multichannel direct communication. The topics concern database management, e-mail marketing, telemarketing, and communication with consumers via Internet.</p>
<p><em>“The times when the marketer could reach the consumer via one marketing channel belong to the past now. Today we face the problem of effective use of multichannel communication. How to use particular tools in conjunction? How to spend the funds to effectively reach the recipients? What are the limitations? What to pay attention to? And how to conduct campaigns in accordance with the law? These are the daily questions asked by marketers. The third IMM answers those questions, illustrating the answers with the best examples from the Polish market,” said Piotr Pokrzywa, General Director, SMB.</em></p>
<p>The lectures were conducted by marketers, representatives of the most important interactive agencies in Poland, database companies and call centres. The following persons, among others, took part in presentations held during this year&#8217;s IMM: Dorota Bachman from Agora, Piotr Niezgódka from the Kochański Zięba Rąpała i Partnerzy Sp.j. law office, Marcin Gaworski from 180heartbeats and Krzysztof Dębowski, CEO of SARE.</p>

<p>Thanks to the convenient buttons available from the home page level, you can quickly access options allowing you, among others, to create a new mailing, import a database, review reports, or supply your SMS account. Here, the right side of the screen contains contact details of your consultant and advice on running e-mail campaigns. The system help was significantly enhanced with video assistance. Over the next months, it will be systematically broadened, to provide SARE customers with an extensive knowledge database on running effective campaigns and the process of planning mailings.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last year was a period in which many companies were getting up on their feet after the economic crisis. Since SARE did not feel its effects, for us it was another year of maintaining the previous growth rate, introduction of new services and solutions.<br />
The SARE system has sent 220 million e-mails, i.e. almost 47% more than the previous year. We have carried out over 25 thousand mailings, generating data transfer rates of 16 terabytes.<br />
<span id="more-465"></span>Our database currently holds around 20 million addresses. The number of sent SMS messages increased by more than 350% over the previous year. We also introduced the possibility of using on line payments to supply accounts. We launched a return SMS channel, including SMS Premium.<br />
By implementing the unique SAREscript programming language, we have provided the only proprietary tool enabling preparation of the campaigns according to any criteria resulting of the individual needs of companies from different business sectors and industries.</p>

<p>We have expanded our system with new features, such as social media, spam-test, video-mails and A/B/X tests, allowing for comparison of effectiveness of different versions of newsletters. We have presented our main solutions also on our blog.</p>
<p>SARE team grew larger. Several new people joined us, including experts in copy-writing, new technologies, brand management and marketing. To mention only some of them, these are: Kinga Zawieska, Karolina Żmijewska, Roman Grygierek, Grzegorz Bernacki, Krzysztof Grabowski, Sylwia Vogel and Jacek Konsek. They joined SARE and Inis Client Service, SARE IT and PR departments. In connection with the intensive development of MailMedia department, we have conducted a recruitment for the head of the department, who is to assume this position in January. We are currently recruiting for several positions. The employment growth is associated with the implementation of the company&#8217;s strategic objectives, its further development and provision of complementary services within the newly created Capital Group.<br />
We also continue our teaching activities, prepare expert articles, conduct lectures on e-mail marketing at the Warsaw School of Economics and execute trainings for our customers. Moreover, we frequent take the floor at industry conferences. We were, among others, the main partner of the largest web conference in Poland – IAB Forum.</p>

<p>In order to have the best contact with our customers and partners, we maintain a company blog and   a profile on the Facebook social networking site. We carried out the seventh study of use of electronic mail, which is the the only recurring survey in Poland and whose the results were presented at the Internetbeta conference in Rzeszów. From the research, we learned how the marketers in Poland use electronic mail in the implementation of marketing projects, whether and how they integrate these activities with other channels, such as social media and advertising in search engines.</p>

<p>We were in the lead of the e-mail marketing working group during preparation of the Strategic Report of IAB Poland INTERNET 2009. The group&#8217;s work shows that the basic requirements for an effective campaign is adequate segmentation and the possibly most extensive subscribers behaviour history. <p>In 2010, we started implementing a strategy aimed at isolating entities specialised in the various email marketing activities. We are constantly adjusting our offer and the form of operation to the requirements of the e-commerce market and the needs of our customers. To this end, we undertook steps to obtain funds for the development of subsidiaries within the SARE Capital Group by preparing SARE to enter the securities market – NewConnect. The first step in this direction was to separate the Inis subsidiary. Then, in November 2010, SARE limited liability company has been transformed into a joint-stock company. Next year, we plan separation of competences of the MailMedia department into a separate company in the form of a media house. SARE&#8217;s début on the NewConnect market is another step in implementing our strategy, which aims at offering e-mail marketing solutions of excellent technical quality, which are complementary with respect to one another. According to the assumptions of the Management Board, investments in the Inis subsidiary and the MailMedia department are intended to maintain the current pace of growth of more than fifty percent.</p>
<p>In the view of the recent market research, including the report recently published by Marketing Sherpa “2011 E-mail Marketing Benchmark Report”, we know how important in e-mail marketing communication it is to provide relevant content to selected groups of customers. Innovative SARE solutions and the changes planned for the coming year are aimed at integrating e-mail and SMS services, increasing rates of deliverability of newsletters, further broadening of qualifications of our consultants and assistance in conducting increasingly sophisticated campaigns based on the SAREscript language.</p>

Mike Walsh, world-famous authority in fields related to the digital  future, stressed it was necessary to change the perception of the future of the Internet.</p>
<p>Chris Dobson of BBC Worldwide raised an important issue, saying that social media would not replace a marketing strategy, but should comprise its integral part. <p>In order to avoid unwanted spam, some email service suppliers are blocking the messages from the senders who have not been whitelisted.This solution ensures proper display of messages and automatic download of graphics from the server. It is also an effective barrier for fake emails (phishing).</p>
<p>The option described above is available in the email editor – in the drop-down list of footers.</p>
